In a short period of time Abhay Deol has proven himself to be one of Bollywood’s versatile actors. With movies like ‘Dev D’, ‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’, ‘Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara’ and ‘Shanghai’ the actor has shown that he can play any part to perfection.
In his upcoming movie ‘Chakravyuh’ the actor will play a Maoist for the first time. The actor had to perform many stunts in the movie but according to him ‘Chakravyuh’ is one of the easiest films he has done so far.
“Physically, I was running a lot, jumping around, cycling, shooting guns, jumping out of trucks... So physically they were tiring scenes. But because I was enjoying all this, I did not feel anything. Honestly speaking, this is one of the easiest films that I have shot,” said Abhay Deol to IANS.
Along with Abhay Deol, the movie also stars Arjun Rampal, who plays a cop in the movie. Arjun and Abhay have worked together for the first time in this movie.
“He is a fabulous actor and he is really dedicated to his work. He'd understood the character so deeply, so it was nice to be, sort of, first his friend and then to see him portray the character and to see how he do it, so then I would just feed off him,” said Abhay Deol.
The movie is directed by Prakash Jha. It also features Esha Gupta and Manoj Bajpai in key roles.
‘Chakravyuh’ is all set to release on October 24.
