On the occasion of Kareena Kapoor’s wedding to Saif Ali Khan today, Kareena Kapoor’s ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor wished the couple a happy married life and said that he hopes that Kareena continues acting.

“Marriage is a big decision and it's a big occasion. I wish them a very happy married life. I hope they are happy together. I hope Kareena keeps working as she is one of the finest actresses we have,” said Shahid Kapoor to IANS during unveiling new range of smart receivers and powerful speakers by Pioneer India Electronics.

“I know Babita aunty and Randhir (Kapoor) uncle for quite a while,” he added.

Kareena Kapoor kept her wedding to Saif Ali Khan a quiet affair and kept denying that a wedding was even planned. But Shahid Kapoor on the other hand said that he would get married in open.

“I haven't decided about my marriage. You guys will make me find a girl and fall in love. But whenever I will get married, I will not be hiding it and doing it in a corner. Media will be welcomed,” he said.

When asked if he was invited to the wedding he said, “What do I say on this? Let's stick to Pioneer.”

Shahid Kapoor said that though love was beautiful no one should forget that love isn’t the only aspect in life.

“What can I say on break ups and link ups. Love is beautiful but everything should not be taken seriously and one important thing is that there are many aspects in life,” he concluded.
