Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, who has shot three of her movies in Kolkata, said that she feels like a Bengali.

“I have shot three films here - 'Bhalo Theko', 'Parineeta' and 'Kahaani'. I feel like a Bengali,” said Vidya Balan to IANS.

The actress said that she loves the city of Kolkata and would keep visiting the city over and over again.

“I am very happy to be in Kolkata. I always try to speak in Bengali because the city is my second home,” she said.

Her hit movie ‘Kahaani’ was shot during the festive season of Durga Pooja in Kolkata. The actress thinks that her movie had the blessing of Goddess Durga and hence went on to become a huge hit.

“Two years ago we had shot 'Kahaani' here. I had prayed for 'Kahaani' to be very successful and, because of goddess Durga's blessings and the support of my fans, it became a huge hit,” she said.

The actress, who started her career in movies with Bengali movie Bhalo Theko, credited Gautam Halder for her career.

“Gautam-da is responsible for me being here today. Kolkata beckoned me again and I am here. I shall keep coming back,” she concluded.
