Anushka Sharma, who made her Bollywood debut against Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, will be seen opposite The King of Romance again in Yash Chopra’s last movie ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’.
Anushka Sharma in a recent interview said that Shah Rukh Khan is still as charming as he was he the first time she met him.
“He is equally delicious. Yes, in my first film it was an acquired taste because I didn't know him, but with this film, I got to know him better,” she said.
Anushka Sharma admitted that she was ‘nervous’ the first time she worked with Shah Rukh Khan but now shares a great rapport with him.
“I was really scared, but he made me so comfortable and I am always grateful to him for that. Shah Rukh as a co-star is a blessing. In ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ I was more of a friend. But both the times, he was lovely and the best co-star one can ever had,” she said.
The actress also considers herself very lucky to get a chance to work with Yash Chopra in his last movie.
“I feel very happy and lucky to be a part of Yash Chopra's last film and to have worked with Aditya in my first film,” she said.
“Every morning I would come to the set and see Yash ji standing there beside the camera, getting ready for the first shot. That used to create an excitement in me. That was one my cherished memories of him,” she added.
The actress said that ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ was a story of love and hope.
“It is a love triangle that gives a sense of hope. So everyone should go and watch it,” she concluded.
‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma is the last directorial movie by late Yash Chopra.
The movie is set to release tomorrow, November 13.
