In an recent interview Farah Khan criticized her movie ‘Joker’s’ lead actors Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha for severing their ties with the movie and refusing to the promote the movie. The filmmaker had gone ahead and stated that she was only interested to work with people who stand by their movies no matter what.

But actress Sonakshi Sinha denied any animosity between them and stated that even though Akshay Kumar failed to promote the movie she was very much a part of the movie’s promotions.

“I was part of promotions. It is wrong to point fingers that I have not promoted the film. I know things are being written about me as well. I don't think the result of the box office changes the equation between two people. Farah is very cordial to me, she is very nice to me there is no animosity with her,” said Sonakshi Sinha in an interview recently.

“I have known Farah from before I interacted with Shirish when I signed the film. The working experience with Shirish was good. With Farah it is like an elder sister, it was wonderful to work with her when she was choreographing. She is jovial, full of life,” she added.

The sci-fi movie ‘Joker’, directed by Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder, released on August 31 and failed miserably at the box-office. This movie was Sonakshi Sinha’s first debacle as the actress was previously a part of blockbuster hits ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Rowdy Rathore’.

But the actress said that she has no regrets when it comes to the movie ‘Joker’.

“I think success and failure are part of every profession, everyone goes through it. 'Joker' was a risk that everyone took. It did not do well, audience did not accept it, and it is ok. It happens,” she said.

“There have been two films of mine before Joker that have been accepted by the audience. So it is ok, you move on,” she added.

“I don't regret it at all. I feel more than the success at the box office it is the experience that matters to me a lot. I had a great time shooting for it. I was working for the first time with such cast and crew. I had a nice experience,” Sonakshi Sinha concluded.
