Actress Priyanka Chopra, who has always maintained a healthy balance between commercial and non-conventional movies like ‘Fashion’, ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ and ‘Barfi!’, said that her upcoming movie based on champion boxer Mary Kom’s life will be her one non-conventional for 2013.
“I do at least one film which is challenging for me every year. Mary Kom is that film for next year. If you meet her in person, you will see she is so sweet....can't imagine her to be a boxer,” said Priyanka Chopra at a press conference.
The actress said that she was training hard to play the role of a boxer in the movie.
“There is a lot of training going on for it. I hope I can pull it off,” she said.
Priyanka Chopra said that her fans have always stood by her and have supported her various endeavors be it her singing debut or her non-conventional films.
“I have done films for so long and my fans have always supported me. It is easy for me to do conventional films, but then I want to try something different," she said.
Priyanka Chopra has four most eagerly anticipated movies releasing next year. Apart from Mary Kom biopic, the actress will be seen in most eagerly awaited superhero film ‘Krrish 3’, ‘Gunday’ in which she stars opposite Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor and ‘Zanjeer’ remake that marks the debut of Southern superstar Ram Charan Teja.
