Actor Abhishek Bachchan revealed that the eagerly anticipated movie ‘Dhoom 3’ is currently 50 percent complete.

“The status of ‘Dhoom 3’ is we are currently about 50 per cent through, we have just come back from a marathon schedule in the States (United States). Now we resume our indoor work in Mumbai,” said Abhishek Bachchan at the Big Star Entertainment Awards.

‘Dhoom 3’ is written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will essay their previous roles of Jai Dixit and Ali. The movie also stars Aamir Khan as the villain and Katrina Kaif as Aamir’s love interest.

Katrina Kaif, who was the same event, said that she was currently busy shooting ‘Dhoom 3’ with Aamir Khan. The actress went on to add that from February she will begin working in the Hindi remake of Hollywood movie ‘Knight and Day’ that stars Hrithik Roshan in main lead.

“At the moment we are shooting for Dhoom 3 with Aamir (Khan). Then in February, I will start a film with Hrithik Roshan, which is an action film, its romantic-action kind of a drama film,” said Katrina Kaif.

The Hindi remake of ‘Knight and Day’ will be directed by Siddharth Anand, whose last movie was Ranbir Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ released in 2010.

Directed by James Mangold ‘Knight and Day’ starred Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in lead roles. Though the movie received mixed response from the audience the movie went on to become a box-office hit.

In the Hindi remake Hrithik Roshan will play the role essayed by Tom Cruise in the original, while Katrina Kaif will play Cameron Diaz’s role.
