The sequel to the 2010 blockbuster hit ‘Dabangg’ ‘Dabangg 2’ is all set to release tomorrow. Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Dabangg’, said that she had high expectations from the eagerly anticipated sequel and hopes that the movie ends up becoming a blockbuster hit like its predecessor.
“We have a lot of hopes from Dabangg 2. The promos and songs of the film have garnered positive response so far and we are expecting a lot from this film,” said Sonakshi Sinha to IANS.
The actress said that she gets nervous before the release of her movies and her fingers are crossed for ‘Dabangg 2’.
“I get nervous before the release of my each and every film. My fingers are crossed for ‘Dabangg 2’ and of course, we hope it will do a better business than ‘Dabangg’,” she said.
Sonakshi Sinha has a good 2012. Out of her three movies – ‘Rowdy Rathore’, ‘Joker’ and ‘Son of Sardaar’, ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and ‘Son of Sardaar’ became huge hits crossing Rs 100 crore mark in India.
“When a film does well at the box office, it is very good for the industry. I am grateful to the directors and producers who have cast me their films,” Sonakshi Sinha concluded.
