Actress Deepika Padukone said that she has no regrets in the year 2012 as her movie ‘Cocktail’ became a huge hit and especially her performance in the movie was very well appreciated.

“I am more than happy I was part of ‘Cocktail’. It was the most satisfying experience to do the film. The audience really appreciated me a lot in ‘Cocktail’," Deepika told IANS.

Deepika Padukone revealed that she did have a few regrets when it come to 2011 as she wishes she was a part of Imtiaz Ali’s movie ‘Rockstar’ that starred Ranbir Kapoor.

“So this year, I am extremely happy about ‘Cocktail’ and have no regrets. But if you ask me about last year, then yes, I would say, I wish I was part of ‘Rockstar’,” she said.

‘Rockstar’ starred Pakistani American Nargis Fakhri as Ranbir's love interest. This was Nargis Fakhri’s first Bollywood movie.

Deepika Padukone conceded that in past two years there have been movies that have disappointed her but refused to name the movies.

“I don't regret anything but, yes, I have been disappointed with two to three films that I did in the last two years. I put equal amount of effort to each and every film but when it doesn't work, it is very disappointing. All of us face ups and downs in our lives, but all we can do is we can learn from our experiences,” Deepika said.

“It is unfair to name any films because ultimately it's me who had chosen the film ... so I would never name them,” she concluded.

Deepika Padukone is currently working with Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani’.
