Actor Arjun Kapoor, who is working with actress Priyanka Chopra in the movie ‘Gunday’, said that the Best Actress of 2012 has to be Priyanka Chopra for her brilliant performance as an autistic girl in the movie ‘Barfi!’.

“Best actress this year (2012) is Priyanka Chopra. She has done terrific work in 'Barfi!'. She has done a wonderful work. So, she has to be my favorite actress for this year," said Arjun Kapoor at the red carpet of Zee Cine Awards.

The actor, who shed 50 kgs before making his Bollywood debut last year, said that he used to listen to the song Deva Shree Ganesha from ‘Agneepath’, which featured Priyanka Chopra during his workout.

“My favorite song has been Deva Shree Ganesha from ‘Agneepath’. I think that song has helped me a lot in my workout. Everyday I workout listening to that song. So that's my favorite,” he said.

Arjun Kapoor made his Bollywood debut last year with Habib Faisal’s ‘Ishaqzaade. The actor starred opposite Parineeti Chopra, cousin of Priyanka Chopra, in the movie. His performance as a village boy received rave reviews.

The actor is currently busy shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's ‘Gunday’. The movie also stars Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.

‘Gunday’ is set in the era of 1970’s, the most turbulent times in Kolkata. Ranveer and Arjun will be seen as powerful black marketing mafia. They play Bikram and Bala respectively. The film traces the journey of these two small time wagon breakers and coal thieves who become mafia leaders.

The actor will also be seen in Atul Sabharwal’s ‘Aurangzeb’, in which he plays a double role, and the movie adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘2 States’.
