Bollywood actress Vidya Balan tied knot with her long time beau and UTV CEO Siddharth Roy Kapoor on December 14 last year.

The actress, who has done bold roles in movies ‘Ishqiya’ and ‘The Dirty Picture’, said that her career won’t be affected by her marriage.

When asked if she would be willing to get intimate on screen now that she is married, Vidya Balan said, “I am an actor and I am married are two different things. Both of us (Siddharth and I) respect each other and our work.”

Vidya Balan will be seen next in ‘Ghanchakkar’ opposite her ‘The Dirty Picture’ co-star Emraan Hashmi.

“This film is special in a way as it's releasing after marriage. It was great working with Emraan this time," she said to PTI.

‘Ghanchakkar’, directed by Rajkumar Gupta, is Vidya Balan’s first comedy movie, where she plays a Punjabi housewife.

“My character is loud, boisterous and she feels she knows everything. She wears her heart on her sleeve. It is first time I am attempting something like this,” Vidya Balan concluded.

The movie will release on June 21.
