Sushant Singh Rajput has become one of the most sought after actor in Bollywood even before his debut movie ‘Kai Po Che!’ hits the screens.

If the sources are to be believed then, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is very keen on signing the youngster for his upcoming movie.

“When Bhansali saw Sushant for the first time, that very moment he thought of casting him. But he did not think it would happen so soon. Bhansali attended the actor's surprise party arranged by his girlfriend Ankita Lokhande,” said a source to Mid-Day.

Apparently, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will begin working on this movie after he is done with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Ram Leela’, directed by him and Mary Kom biopic, starring Priyanka Chopra.

“But at the same time he is also in talks to rope in a director for the film and the actress is also to be finalized,” the source added.

Sushant Singh Rajput is currently busy promoting his movie ‘Kai Po Che!’, an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘3 Mistakes of My Life’.

The movie is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and stars Raj Kumar Yadav and Amit Sadh.

Sushant Sigh Rajput will also be seen as second male lead in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Peekay’ starring Aamir Khan and Deepika Padukone.

The actor also has Maneesh Sharma’s next movie, produced by Yash Raj Films, and ’22 Tango’ a movie to be directed by Imtiaz Ali’s wife and produced by Imtiaz Ali under his belt.
