Actors Arshad Warsi and R. Madhavan will play conman in Ken Ghosh’s upcoming untitled project.

Arshad Warsi confirmed the news and said that he will begin shooting for the movie once his movie ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ is completed.

“The film with Ken Ghosh is about two conmen. It has R Madhavan and me. The movie is based in Haryana. We will start working on it this year after I complete 'Dedh Ishqiya',” said Arshad Warsi to PTI.

Aditi Rao Hydari has been roped in as the female lead for the movie.

Other than this movie, Arshad Warsi will be seen as a dacoit in ‘Chambal Safari’.

“I play a dacoit... it is not a negative sort of character. He is a dacoit in misery... who has a gun but can't afford bullets. It's a beautiful film... a satire, a reality,” said Arshad Warsi.

‘Chambal Safari’ is about a bunch of dacoits in Chambal who are going through a lean phase as bandits and all this leads to certain funny situations.

“They (dacoits) are so poor in real life. It is the realities that will make everyone laugh. The film is about the dream of this dacoit to one day walk out and be welcomed by the whole village, but nobody comes forward. He is bad and sad," he said.

The actor said that the shooting for this movie will begin in September this year.

“The film needs a particular kind of weather. We will shoot in September-October-November in Chambal, as that is the best time for the shoot. It is very interesting. I liked the script,” Arshad concluded.

The movie is directed by Maqbool Khan of ‘Kabootar’ and ‘Lanka’ fame.

The movie will release next year.
