Thirty years after ‘Sadma’, veteran actors Kamal Haasan and Sridevi will be seen on silver screen once again.

Over the years many directors have tried to rope in the actors in their movies but for some reason it dint work out. Now Actor Kamal Haasan himself is penning a script for a movie keeping Sridevi in his mind.

“Filmmakers along the years have wanted to cast them together. Unfortunately, it never worked out. After Sridevi made her comeback, Kamal has now taken things into his own hands,” said a source to a daily.

Kamal Haasan confirmed the news and said that he was very excited to work with Sridevi again.

“Yes, I want to work with Sridevi. I'm writing a script for her, so that both of us can act in the film,” said Kamal Haasan.

Apparently Kamal Haasan met with Sridevi recently and revealed his ideas and Sridevi too is very keen on working with Kamal Haasan again.

“She knows about this script. In fact when Kamal was in Mumbai recently, he had informed Sridevi about it. The actress is looking forward to the film,” said a close friend of the actress.

Sridevi recently made a comeback on silver screen with critically and commercially hit movie ‘English Vinglish’. The performance of the actress is the movie has been very much appreciated.
