Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is all set to walk the ramp for Lakme Fashion Week Summer/ Resort 2013. The Lakme Fashion Week will start from March 22.

The actress won’t just be walking the ramp but she is also the show stopper for the grand finale which will be presented by designer Namrata Joshipura.

“Yes this year too Kareena, being the brand ambassador of Lakme, will be walking the ramp for the finale. She is quite excited about it. We hope she would have some time from her busy schedule," said Purnima Lamba, Head Innovations.

Purnima said that Kareena Kapoor’s husband Saif Ali Khan won’t be walking the ramp this year as he is busy with his movies.

“I think as Saif is busy with his shoots, he might come to admire her. Since the show is more to do with women, he might not walk the ramp and just be present there,” she said.

Actress Kareena Kapoor was the show stopper last year too as she had walked the ramp for grand finale designers - Kallol Dutta and Pankaj and Nidhi.

Other than Namrata Joshipura, Lakme Fashion Week will also showcase designers like Vikram Phadnis, Manish Malhotra, Nishika Lulla, Rocky S, Masaba, Gaurang Shah, Swapnil Shinde and Bhairavi Jaikishan.
