
Salman Khan, who was instrumental in making Katrina Kaif one of the leading actresses is Bollywood, is now all set to launch the career of his ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabella Kaif.
According to a leading daily Salman Khan is all set to co-produce Isabella’s debut Canadian movie ‘Dr. Cabbie’.
The movie, which is said to be distributed in India by Eros International, is estimated to be a $25 million project.
“Isabelle went through the audition process like all the other actors. She was cast based on her performance and only because she was a perfect fit for the role,” said Eros International spokesperson.
Directed by famous Canadian director Jean-François Pouliot, the story of the movie revolves around a young Indian doctor who has newly arrived in Canada and has to work as a taxi driver after being turned down by some local medical schools.
Along with Isabella Kaif, the movie also star ‘The Big Bang Theory’ star Kunal Nayyar, Vinay Virmani – last seen in ‘Speedy Singh’ in 2011 – and Adrianne Palicki – who was in ‘GI Joe: Retaliation’ earlier this year.
The film is currently being shot in Canada.
