Ever since her IPL team Rajasthan Royals got embroiled in match fixing controversy, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has chosen to stay away from the spotlight.
But the actress made on appearance at the glitzy Star Paarivar Awards to grab her special award.
The actress, who was accompanied by 'India's dancing superstar' mentor Riteish Deshmukh at the ceremony held at the Yash Raj Studio, said that she was going through a bad phase.
“I need to be careful now as I am going through a bad phase. But I am really honored that I have bagged this special award. I always get nervous when I get an award because I haven't got many in my career,” said Shilpa Shetty at the event.
Not just her team but Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra was questioned by the authorities for betting on the matches.
But due to inconclusive evidence everyone involved in match fixing and betting scandal were set free.
On Shilpa Shetty’s birthday Raj Kundra took to Twitter to apologize to his wife for letting her down.
