Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who plays superhero Krrish in upcoming movie ‘Krrish 3’, said that he actually wanted to play the role of villain in the film but his father, director of the movie, Rakesh Roshan, dint allow him to do so.

“I wanted to play the role of villain in the film. He will be known as Kaal. But my father did not allow me to do that. I thought that only I could do justice to the character of Kaal but Vivek proved me wrong,” said Hrithik Roshan to PTI.

“After seeing Vivek's conviction to the role, I feel my father took the right decision,” he added.

Rakesh Roshan, who was also present at the event, said that he had written the role of Kaal keeping Vivek Oberoi in mind.

“I always wanted Vivek for it. He played the role brilliantly and beyond my expectation," Rakesh Roshan said.

The sci-fi movie ‘Krrish 3’ is the third movie in ‘Krrish’ franchise. The movie is a sequel to 2003 movie ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’ and 2006 superhero movie ‘Krrish 2’.

Actress Kangna Ranaut will be India’s first female superhero Superwoman. Vivek Oberoi plays the male antagonist Kaal and Shaurya Chauhan plays female antagonist Illusion.

The movie will release on November 1.
