Bollywood actress Jiah Khan’s death was ruled as a suicide by Mumbai police after she was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her apartment in Juhu earlier this year. But with new forensic evidence coming into light it seems that there is some foul play involved.

According to Kalina Forensic Laboratory's latest report there was human flesh and blood lodged underneath the late actress' fingernails. Not only that, her innerwear had blood smears as well. These points strongly suggest a struggle and this is usually associated with murder.

Given the new evidence, Jiah Khan’s family have approached Juhu police team asking them to re-open the case.

Jiah Khan’s mother has always been vocal about her suspension that her daughter was ‘killed by someone close to her’. The actress’s mother had even filed a case against aspiring actor Suraj Pancholi, son of son of actor couple Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab.

Suraj Pancholi was later arrested and charged with the abetment of actress Jiah Khan's suicide. Later the actor was granted bail.

On June 3rd Jiah Khan was found hanging from her bedroom ceiling. Later reports emerged that the actor was disturbed and depressed due to her relationship turmoil with her then boyfriend Suraj Pancholi.
