The shooting of upcoming movie ‘Bobby Jasoos’ has been postponed due to the fact that producer Dia Mirza’s mother has been advised to undergo emergency heart surgery.

“Dia's mother has to undergo an urgent heart surgery due to which the schedule of 'Bobby Jasoos' has been postponed by 11 days," read a statement on behalf of Dia's production banner Born Free Entertainment.

‘Bobby Jasoos’ stars Vidya Balan in the lead role. The actress will be playing a detective for the first time in this movie.

“Dia and Sahil are very grateful that Vidya and the entire star cast and crew have been supportive and accommodative. The surgery is scheduled for the middle of this week. The film will now commence Nov 25," the statement further read.

The movie ‘Bobby Jasoos’ is actress turned producer Dia Mirza’s second production venture.

‘Bobby Jasoos’ will be directed by Sameer Shaikh and produced under Dia Mirza’s banner Born Free Entertainment, which she co-owns it with her beau Sahil Sangha.

The movie will now go on floors on November 25 and is scheduled to release in April 2014.
