Tamil actor Dhanush, whose debut movie ‘Raanjhanaa’ not only earned him critical appreciation but a commercial success, will next be seen in R. Balki’s movie that will also star Amitabh Bachchan.
Dhanush tweeted confirming the news and said that he was very excited to share screen space with Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
“Yes guys, my next Hindi film is with Balki sir. (I'm) very excited and eagerly looking forward to it. (I'm) privileged to share screen space with Big B himself and ecstatic to be part of Raja sir's musical again," posted Dhanush on his Twitter page.
The music for the movie will be composed by legendary Tamil composer Illayaraja, who had previously composed music for Balki’s ‘Cheeni Kum’ and ‘Paa’. Balki has roped in P C Sreeram for Cinematography.
The movie will also mark the debut of Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara.
Dhanush is currently busy shooting for Tamil projects ‘Velaiyilla Pattathari’ and ‘Anegan’.
He also has another Bollywood project with director Aanand Rai in the pipeline.
The movie will go on floors in early 2014.
