Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan provoked ire of media when he along with his co-stars of his upcoming movie ‘Bullet Raja’ showed up three hours late for an event in Delhi yesterday.

When media demanded an apology from Saif Ali Khan, the actor chose to lash out at the media instead of apologizing.

“I will not apologize because it is not my fault. I was stuck in traffic. I should not be blamed for this chaos and I feel stars should not come to Delhi. This is my last visit to Delhi and henceforth, I will give interviews from Mumbai,” said Saif Ali Khan.

The actor decided to place blame on the event organizers Delhi Election Commission instead.

“If anybody should apologize it is the election officials as they didn't convey the right time," Saif said.

Saif, who was accompanied by Sonakshi Sinha, Jimmy Shergill and director Tigmanshu Dhulia, also cancelled the scheduled press conference.

But later District Election Officer (North) A M More said that Saif Ali Khan apologized.

“He (Saif) apologized. We from the district administration also apologize on this issue that he got late. This should be considered by the media. We are coming together for a cause,” he said.

“Generally stars have other engagements; he must be having some other commitments. He came here to give the message that voters should participate in the election,” he added.
