The news of Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan separating has taken the world by storm. There have been numerous speculations regarding the actual reason behind the amicable spilt. Recently one of the leading daily reported that Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan’s best friend and fellow actor Arjun Rampal is responsible for the separation.

The daily reported that the reason behind Sussanne Roshan filing for divorce is the allegedly growing friendship between her and Arjun Rampal.

Arjun Rampal released a statement earlier today denying the report and saying that the article has not just hurt his sentiments but also of his wife Mehr and their friends Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan.

He said that he and his wife wish nothing but best for their friends and will support them through this rough phase.

“I read in the news, about the same time as you all, about my involvement in this marriage. It saddens me deeply that rumors become inevitable during celebrities going through such times. Mehr and I wish them only peace and love through these times, and support them as friends should, and we wish them and their families well, always," Arjun Rampal said in a statement.

“It is very sad when friends close to you take a decision to separate. These are the hardest times for them and we must be sensitive towards this decision, rather than creating speculation and rumors," he added.

Rumors about couple’s marriage being on rocks have been going around for 6 months now. The couple hadn't made a public appearance together for almost 3 months. Three months ago it was reported that Sussanne Khan moved out of the Roshan's Mumbai house almost 3 months back after a spat which reportedly turned quite ugly. But the couple had denied the reports.

But recently Hrithik Roshan released a statement confirming his split from his wife.

Hrithik Roshan married Sussanne, the daughter of Bollywood actor Sanjay Khan, on December 20, 2000. The couple has two sons, seven-year-old Hrehaan and five-year-old Hridhaan.
