Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan is confused with the response to his latest release ‘Jai Ho’.

Though the movie has received mixed to negative reactions from the audience and critics alike, the movie has been doing well at the box-office and has also managed to cross the 100 Crore mark.

“This time we are also confused because the reactions inside the theatres and the collections are not matching up. So it's a very strange thing," said the actor to IANS.

Salman Khan said that the movie’s different subject and political aspect might be the reason that the audience isn’t drawn to theaters like his previous movies.

“We have done something different, may be people were expecting something like ‘Dabangg’, ‘Ready’ like time pass film to enjoy. Some must have understood that ‘Jai Ho’ is not that kind of film, this is a serious film with a social message," Salman said.

The actor said that he is the only person to be blamed for any kind of debacle.

"I will only say that the credit or the blame for my film should come to me and not to anybody else. Perhaps I have failed in bringing in the people," he said.

‘Jai Ho’ is directed by Salman Khan’s younger brother Sohail Khan. The movie stars debutant actress Daisy Shah, along with Tabu and Danny Denzongpa.

The political drama is a remake of Telugu movie ‘Stalin’ starring Southern Megastar Chiranjeevi.
