Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who recently unveiled the Hindi trailer of Southern idol Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie ‘Kochadaiiyaan’, said that he finds the movie as a mark of women empowerment "at its best".

‘Kochadaiiyaan’, starring Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone in lead roles, is directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya.

‘Kochadaiiyaan’ is a 3D periodic movie, which will be the first Indian movie to use performance capturing technology, the same technology used in movies like ‘Avatar’ and ‘The Adventures of Tin Tin’ by James Cameron and Steven Spielberg respectively.

Ever since the Megastar unveiled the trailer of the movie he has been singing praises of Soundarya.

“A proud moment for society where a girl takes on the challenge of a technology for the first time in the country, and makes it happen. A daughter pays tribute to her haloed father, affection that transcends all the cynicism that society still throws up,” he continued.

“A father who entrusts his daughter with confidence and support to undertake this huge enterprise. Unlike some of the twisted norms being still practiced in the country,” Amitabh Bachchan concluded.

The movie also stars Jackie Shroff, R Sarath Kumar, Shobana, Aadi Pinisetty, Nasser and Rukmini in important roles.

The movie is all set to release on May 1.
