After Arjun Rampal walked out of ‘Zanjeer’ remake the role of Sher Khan was up for grabs. Now according to sources none other than Sanjay Dutt has been finalized to play the role immortalized by Pran in the original.

The eagerly anticipated remake of ‘Zanjeer’ already boots star cast of Southern Superstar Ram Charan Teja, who is making his Bollywood debut with this movie, and Bollywood National Award winning actress Priyanka Chopra. The movie also features South superstar Prakash Raj and Mahi Gill in pivotal roles.

Previously it was reported that Sonu Sood would be playing the role of Sher Khan. The reports are true as Sonu Sood will be playing Sher Khan not in Hindi but in Telugu version of the movie, which is being simultaneously shot.

The movie is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Amit Mehra, son of Prakash Mehra, who directed and produced the original ‘Zanjeer’.

After Sanjay Dutt’s brilliant performance as Kancha Cheena in ‘Agneepath’ we can’t wait for Sanju Baba’s version of Sher Khan.
