Manisha Koirala nervous about chemotherapy

Actress Manisha Koirala, who underwent surgery for ovarian cancer on December 10 in New York, said that she is nervous about the chemotherapy sessions that started today.

“Today is my first chemo... between being nervous of unknown and courage to face the challenge, I am in a state of prayer and in gratitude of the support I have received from mom, dad, Koi, (sister-in-law) Yulia... though she is far but her love and prayers do touch me,” wrote Manisha Koirala on her Facebook page.

“And so many other loving friends and family... thank you for your love and prayers. Nothing else is more important than love and care. Thank you... until next time," she added.

The actress was admitted in Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai on November 28 after she lost her consciousness. After many tests it was revealed that the actress had ovarian cancer. The actress later flew to US for further tests and treatment.

Manisha Koirala, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Saudagar’ in 1991, was one of the top heroines in 90’s and acted in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil movies. The actress is known for her performances in ‘1942 Love Story’, ‘Bombay’, ‘Khamoshi’ and ‘Mann’.

The actress recently made her comeback in Bollywood with Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Bhoot Returns’.
