Producers Neelima Tirumalasetti and Nagesh Muntha are planning to take advantage of Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh’ success and are paving the way to release their film ‘Panjaa’ as ‘Kuri’ in Tamil soon. The news has been confirmed by Neelima Tirumalasetti on her twitter account and she says that “Panja Tamil dubbed version is ready and will have a grand release in TN soon !!!”.

This is no surprise given the attention Pawan Kalyan’s old films are getting following stupendous success of ‘Gabbar Singh’. Hence, the makers of ‘Panjaa’ have decided to release ‘Kuri’ in a grand scale in Tamil Nadu. Vishnuvardhan has directed the movie, which also features Sara Jane Dias, Anjal Lavania and Adivi Sesh in pivotal roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Goan beauty Ileana are currently busy shooting for their upcoming film ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’. The production is canning couple of songs and pending scenes on the lead pair in exotic locales of Italy from couple of days. The shooting will continue till May end and the makers are planning to release the movie in June.

Sources say that the movie has powerful and satirical dialogues in director Puri Jagannath’s style. BVSN Prasad is producing the movie on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner, while Raghu Kunche is providing the music. There are huge expectations on ‘DCM’ as both Ravi Teja and Puri Jagan have delivered few sensational super hits earlier. Let’s hope the success streak of the duo continues this time as well.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s new movie ‘Julayi’ has finished its shooting and currently the dubbing formalities are going on at brisk pace. The movie is slated for July end release. Trivikram Srinivas is directing the movie produced by Radha Krishna on Harika and Hasini creations banner. Ileana is romancing Allu Arjun in this stylish comedy entertainer.

Rajendra Prasad will be seen in police cop avatar after many years in ‘Julayi’. Reportedly, the actor has already completed dubbing his lines for the film. The audio launch of Balakrishna and Manchu Manoj starrer ‘Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ is postponed again due to some technical reasons. The news has been confirmed by producer of the film Manchu Lakshmi on her twitter account. She apologizes for this sudden postponement and cited technical issue as the reason.

Initially, the makers of ‘Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ had planned to release the audio on May 26 at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad. But, with this latest update there are chances of change in the audio launch venue as well, says close aides of Manchu Lakshmi. Deeksha Seth and Panchi Bora are playing female leads in this family entertainer.

Recently, the logo launch of Tamil version of ‘Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ titled ‘Varuvan Thalaivan’ has been launched in a starry affair. The makers are planning to release the movie sometime in June.

The shooting of Victory Venkatesh’s upcoming movie ‘Shadow’ will commence from June 17 in Mumbai. In this new schedule, the makers are planning to shoot crucial scenes of the movie on Venkatesh and heroine Tapsee for 15 days. Currently, the shooting of ‘Shadow’ is progressing at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad in a specially erected set. The unit is filming a song on Venkatesh and Tapsee under the supervision of Raju Sundaram over there from couple of days.

‘Shadow’ is loosely based on mafia bacdrop in which Venkatesh plays the role of a gangster for the first time in his career. Tapsee will be seen as medico in this action thriller. Srikanth is acting as a cop who runs after Venkatesh, while Madhurima acts as Srikanth’s lady love. Meher Ramesh is directing the movie, which is being produced Paruchuri Kireeti. Music is by Thaman.

Heroine Richa Gangopadhyay is likely to act as heroine in Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s new movie ‘Sir Osthara’. Paarasuram, who directed ‘Anjaneyulu’ with Ravi Teja earlier, is directing this movie on Vyjayanthi Movies banner. Currently, the discussions are on and a confirmation call would be announced by the director soon.

Recently, the makers of the film had approached Trisha, Hansika and Amala Paul for the same role and ironically, none of them showed interest to act in this project. Aswini Dutt, who is on a rough patch, is producing ‘Sir Osthara’ and Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt are presenting it. This would be for the second time Ravi Teja will be seen sharing the screen space with Richa after ‘Mirapakaya’.

Hero Ram’s new movie under the direction of ‘Bommarillu’ Bhaskar is tentatively titled as ‘Ongole Gitta’. The movie was launched a while ago on March 9. The regular shooting of ‘Ongole Gitta’ will commence from tomorrow in Guntur, says hero Ram on his twitter account.

The story of the movie is based on Guntur market yard and hence the makers are planning to shoot major part of the film over there.

BVSN Prasad is set to produce this film on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner. A new heroine is likely to feature opposite Ram in this mass entertainer.  GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in as music director and A Venkatesh is the cameraman. More details on the project will be announced soon.

Super Star Mahesh Babu’s ‘Dookudu’ is going to celebrate the 100 days function in style in Hyderabad on June 1. The event would be attended by Mahesh Babu, Namrata Shirodkar, Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala and unit members along with several big wigs of the Tollywood.

‘Dookudu’ has completed its 100 days run in 39 direct centers and the movie has raked in profits for its producers. Currently, Mahesh Babu is acting in an untitled movie produced by the makers of ‘Dookudu’, which is being directed by Sukumar. Reports says that the unit is going to felicitate few fans of Super Star who took active part in controlling the piracy.

Well, Nandamuri Balakrishna, who has accelerated himself to act in more than two films a year, has recently agreed to act in the sequel of ‘Aditya 369’. Released in 1991, ‘Aditya 369’ hit the bulls eye and went on to become one of the biggest hits of the decade. Balakrishna played the role of Srikrishna Devaraya and a medico in that cult classic.

Buzz says that Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, who directed the original, will direct the sequel and the regular shooting of the film would begin from August. Vinod is set to produce the movie and Konda Krishnam Raju would present it. An official announcement and other details on this project will be out on June 10, which happens to be Balakrishna’s birthday.
