Gopichand starrer 'Mogudu' film shooting is almost complete except for three songs. It is heard that the entire shooting will be completed by September 3^rd week and the film is expected to release in October.

The film recently finished its climax shoot and the patch work remained balance. 'Mogudu' also has Dr Rajendra Prasad, Roja and Naresh in prominent roles. Tapsee and Shraddha Das are the leading ladies in the film.

The film directed by Krishna Vamsi is produced by Nallamalupu Bujji under Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner. Babu Shankar is debuting as music director with this film.

Both Gopichand and Krishna Vamsi are looking out for a major success as their last films were duds at box-office.

Comedian turned hero Sunil’s next movie 'Poolarangadu' is getting ready for release on January 14, 2012 which happens to be Sankranthi. Isha Chawla of 'Premakavali' fame is paired opposite Sunil in this film.

The shooting of the film started on August 18 and will commence till the movie is wrapped up. K Atchi Reddy is the producing this comedy entertainer on Macs India Productions banner and RR Movie Makers are presenting the movie.

Anoop Rubens has scored the music of the film. Veerabhadram Chowdary of 'Aha Na Pellanta' fame is the director of the flick. Producer Atchi Reddy predicted that this film will become big hit in Sunil’s career.

Victory Venkatesh’s tentatively titled film 'Ganga-The Bodyguard' has just completed its talkie part. The shooting of the film is almost in the final stage.

The film unit will fly abroad for the songs shoot in the second week of September and is expected to return in the first week of October.  This film is the remake of Malayalam hit movie Bodyguard.

Trisha is the heroine and Saloni is playing second fiddle. Gopichand Malineni of Don Seenu fame is directing the film produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under Sai Ganesh Productions banner. SS Thaman is composing the music for this film.

According to our sources, Thaman has been finalized as the music director for Young Tiger NTR’s tentatively titled 'Mafia - O Manchi Kutumbam' under the direction of Srinu Vaitla. The movie is expected to hit the floors soon after the completion of NTR-Boyapati Srinu’s film tentatively titled 'Dammu'.

So far only two crew members of the film are confirmed. One is Thaman and the other is cinematographer KV Guhan. News is that a leading actress has been roped in to play female lead in the film.

Collection King Mohan Babu’s younger son and actor Manchu Manoj was involved in an accident while shooting for a chasing scene near Ramoji Film City for his upcoming film 'Mr Nokia'.

It is reported that a student named Gnaneswar was hit by Manoj’s car while filming the scene, which later on resulted in a heated argument between the students of St Mary’s College and Manoj’s associates. Later on, the students filed a complaint on Manoj and his associates at the Hayyat Nagar police station.

The police registered a case and the investigation is on. However, there is no comment from Manoj on the issue as of now.

Super Star Mahesh Babu-Samantha starrer 'Dookudu' is nearing completion. The film is currently shooting an item song 'Poovai Poovai' on Mahesh Babu and Parvathi Melton in a specially erected set at Ramoji Film City from September 6.

The film’s post-production work is also progressing simultaneously at Shabdalaya Theaters in full force. Except this song the film’s shooting is almost completed.

Dookudu is produced by Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta on 14 Reels Entertainment banner. Srinu Vaitla wields the megaphone while Thaman has scored the music of the film.

The makers are planning for a massive release of the film on September 23 with record number of prints in Mahesh’s career.

Ajith Kumar’s latest Super Hit Mankatha is gearing up for release as Gambler in Telugu. The film’s Tamil version garnered positive reviews and takes the biggest opening day record after Rajini Kanth’s Robot.

Now, producer Bellamkonda Suresh who recently delivered hits Kanchana and Kandireega has acquired the rights of Mankatha in Telugu and is releasing the film through Multi-Dimension Entertainments.

Gambler is releasing in 225 centers in Andhra Pradesh on September 9 thus becoming the first ever dubbed film to release in these many centers. Trisha paired opposite Ajith in this action thriller. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music and Venkat Prabhu directed the film.

Rangam, Naa Peru Shiva, Nanna, Kanchana are among the few dubbed releases that earned decent profits in Tollywood recently.

Sushanth who is looking for a major break has okayed a film under the direction of debutant Sai Reddy. Sai Reddy is a former associate of ace director Puri Jagannath. It is reported that Puri has referred Sai Reddy’s name to several producers as a promising talent.

Impressed by Sai’s script Sushanth immediately agreed to act and produce the film under his home banner Sri Nag Corporation. The film is touted to be a romantic action entertainer.
