Salman Khan who is also known as Dabangg Khan is the undisputed king of box-office now a days. His latest film Bodyguard is hitting the screens on August 31 created new record in Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad.

The film is releasing in as much as 54 theatres out of which 48 are single screens and 6 are multiplexes in Hyderabad. That’s a huge release even for a big starrer Tollywood film in Hyderabad.

Body Guard is releasing in 120 screens alone in Andhra Pradesh is the biggest ever release for any Hindi film. Salman’s last film Ready crossed Rs 2 crore gross in just 3 days is the second biggest opening of all time for a Hindi film.

The film is set to create more records at box-office as this is the festive season of Ramzan and Ganesh Chaturthi.

Versatile actor Ajay signed up to play the role of Pawan Kalyan’s brother in 'Gabbar Singh'. The film is the remake of Salman Khan starrer Dabangg. Arbaaz Khan acted as the brother (Makki Singh) of Salman in the original.

Ajay’s role in the film elevates the hero character. Ajay who is well known for doing baddie roles is an apt choice for the film. Recently, rumors riffed that Sushanth, Srikanth have been finalized for the role but the team of 'Gabbar Singh' has chosen Ajay.

Shruthi Hassan was roped in as the female lead. Gabbar Singh is produced by Bandla Ganesh and directed by Harish Shanker. Devi Sri Prasad is wielding the baton of music for the film.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next project 'Hara Hara Mahadeva' would start its shoot from October. Currently, Balayya is shooting for Paruchuri Murali’s tentatively titled film Adhinayakudu. The movie is in final leg of its shoot and is expected to hit the screens for Pongal.

HHM has Trisha opposite Balayya for the first time as female lead. The film is directed by B Gopal and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh on Sri Sai Ganesh Productions pvt Ltd banner. Multi Dimension Entertainments banner is presenting the film.

Meanwhile, Balayya is looking forward for the release of 'Sri Rama Rajyam' where he plays the role of Lord Sri Rama. The film is slated for Dasara release, which is on October 6.

The audio of Young Tiger NTR’s upcoming action entertainer 'Oosaravilli' is postponed by a day. The film’s audio launch is actually scheduled on September 11 but it was pushed on to September 12 as Ganesh idols immersion is going to take place on the same day, that is on September 11.

Adithya Music bagged the audio rights of the film. Tamannah Bhatia is paired opposite NTR for the first time in Oosaravilli. Surender Reddy is directing the film under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner produced by BVSN Prasad.

Payal Ghosh is acting as the second heroine. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director. The film is likely to release for Dasara.

'Nenu, Nanna Abaddham' starring Krishnudu is ready for release on September 9. The film also stars Divya Nagesh, Nandu as the lead pair. Earlier, Divya Nagesh acted as a child artiste in Anushka starrer Arundathi, while Nandu acted in 100% Love. This is the debut film of Divya as heroine.

'Nenu, Nanna Abaddham' is directed by Govind Varaha and produced by Balaprakash under the banner of Cosmic Pictures. The audio of the film released recently earned positive talk from the audience. Chinni Charan scored the music for the film.

The film also has Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Yendamuri Veerendranath, Krishna Bhagwan, Anitha, Sonali Joshi, etc in other roles. The movie is in post-production stage and the makers are trying their best to release the movie on September 9.

According to film nagar sources, Victory Venkatesh who shares a good relation with Mahesh Babu and Srinu Vaitla has agreed to lend his voice for Mahesh Babu Starrer Dookudu film. He reportedly will give his voice over for scenes with Mafia backdrop.

Recently, the news of Venkatesh and Mahesh multi-starrer under the direction of Srikanth Addala is doing rounds. With this, we can imagine a film in this combo soon as this news adds more fuel to the rumor.

Right now, Dookudu unit is picturising a song on the entire star cast and the post-production work is under progress simultaneously.  The film is expected to release on September 23. Samantha is the heroine of the film.

Kannada Superstar Upendra agreed to play an important role in 'Aadi Shankara', the directorial of popular writer JK Bharavi. Besides Upendra, King Nagarjuna also agreed to play a prominent role in the film. Now, the film has become a multi-starrer with Upendra’s presence.

Tollywood’s popular producer Burugupalli Siva Rama Krishna is elected as the new President of Telugu Film Producers Council (TPFC).  He was preceded by M Shyam Prasad Reddy. Sravanthi Ravi Kishore and CV Reddy elected as the new Vice-Presidents while, Prasanna Kumar and KV Rao elected as the new Secretaries.

Shekhar Babu is the new Treasurer and P Keshava Rao and Mohan Vadapatla are the new Joint Secretaries. Also, fifteen members were elected as the new members of the executive committee.

Speaking on the occasion Burugupalli told that, he can be approached by any producer for any issue and he assured that he will solve the pending issues and disputes involved in film production.

Gopichand starrer 'Mogudu' which is slated for Dasara is unlikely to hit the screens as scheduled since the film needs at least 20 days to complete the balance work. Currently, the team is working day and night to release the film for Dasara.

If the film misses for Dasara, then there are more chances for the film to release for Diwali along with Naga Chaitanya’s 'Bezawada'. To get good theaters in the busy Dasara season is an uphill task for any producer unless until he owns few of them.

Mogudu is directed by creative director Krishna Vamsi and produced by Nallamalupu Bujji under Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner. New comer Babloo Shanker is the music director of the film. Tapsee and Shradha Das are the female leads.

Here comes the most celebrating news for Mega fans! Megastar Chiranjeevi has confirmed that he would be featuring in his 150^th movie to be produced by his son Ram Charan. Chiru finally announced it officially in the 100 days function of Rangam, which is held at Tirupathi on August 28.

The announcement came much to the surprise of everyone and he also said that he is acting only because of his brother Naga Babu’s wish. The film is touted to be a message oriented commercial film. Currently, the film’s script is getting ready.
