King Nagarjuna who is also called as the Manmadhudu of Tollywood turns 52 today. He was born on August 29, 1959 in Chennai. He has done many experiments with his movies and introduced several talented directors to the industry. He played several characters like Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu, Mass, Manmadhudu and Shiva which earned him success and reputation as an actor.

Right now, he is busy doing Rajanna and Dhamarukam. He also agreed to play the role of Shirdi Sai Baba in a film directed by K Raghavendra Rao. He is blessed with two sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil. Naga Chaitanya made his debut as a hero with Josh and Akhil debuted as a child artist with Sisindri.

According to the reports, the chances of releasing NTR’s Oosaravilli for September end are almost ruled out. As per sources, the reason behind this is Tamannah. Tamannah who is paired opposite NTR in the film needs to adjust two more days for the patch work. Though, she gave dates on September 25 & 26 the film is unlikely to release on September 30.

Now-a-days for a film to complete its censor formalities, the censor board has framed very strict norm of completing its censor at least 5 days before its release. So, the inside sources are claiming that the film’s release in unlikely before Dasara, that is on October 6.

Oosaravilli is directed by Surender Reddy on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner produced by BVSN Prasad. 

Jiiva’s super hit film 'Rangam' which enoyed a successful 100 days run in over 30 centers is going to celebrate the 100 days function in Big Cinema theaters at Tirupathi on August 28. The film is still running in several places with decent collections.

The film is produced jointly by S Kumar and Jayaraman under RS Infotainment Productions banner. RB Chowdary of Super Good Films presented the film in Telugu. While interacting with media RB Chowdary thanked the Telugu audience for giving a huge hit to his son Jiiva and told that Mega Star Chiranjeevi will grace the 100 days function as chief guest.

KV Anand who earlier delivered super hit film Ayan (Veedokkade in Telugu) is the director of this film. Harris Jayaraj is the music director.

Rangam is the dubbed version of Tamil film KO, which means King.

King Nagarjuna’s prestigious periodical film 'Rajanna' is all set to hit the screens on September 30. The shooting of the film is almost complete and is in post-production stage. Nagarjuna himself is producing the movie under Annapurna Studios banner. The scenes which involve Nagarjuna in the film are picturised by star director SS Rajamouli.

The film is based on Telangana’s Razakar movement. Yeni, an eight year old baby is playing an important role in the movie. The first look of the movie is released yesterday on the occasion of Nagarjuna’s birthday.

The audio of the film is likely to release in the second week of September in a grand gala function. Popular writer Vijayendra Prasad is making his debut as the director with Rajanna. MM Keeravani composed the music for the film.

Meher Ramesh who is yet to prove his mettle with a hit has finally got a hero who is capable of carrying the movie single-handedly, irrespective of the fate of the film. Ravi Teja who is called a 'minimum guarantee hero' is acting in a film directed by Meher Ramesh. The film is titled 'Power'.

Power is produced by Malla Vijay Prasad under Welfare Creations banner. Vakkantham Vamsi penned the story for this film. Speaking on the occasion director Meher Ramesh told that the story itself is the USP of the movie and Ravi Teja will be seen in a powerful role in the film.

The film will be made with high technical values and will be the highest budget movie Ravi Teja has ever starred in. Two heroines will be paired opposite Ravi Teja. According to the producer, the shooting of the film will kick-off from early next year and will be completed in a single schedule.

Ram Gopal Varma’s 'Bezawada Rowdilu' which created more controversies right from the launch of the film has changed its title to 'Bezawada' now due to various agitations and objections from political leaders and locals of the city.

The film is based on Vijayawada’s caste politics and gang wars between two groups during late 80’s and early 90’s. Naga Chaitanya is donning the role of a powerful leader from the region. The film is being directed by Vivek Krishna.

Amala Paul is the female lead. The film is likely to hit the screens for Diwali. The film’s shoot is complete barring songs and few scenes. Ram Gopal Varma turned producer for the film.

Ultimate Star Ajith Kumar’s upcoming action thriller Mankatha is being dubbed in Telugu as Gambler. This film is Ajith’s 50^th film. The story of the film revolves around a mafia gang who gambles during the Indian Premiere League cricket season. The film was shot in Chennai, Mumbai and Bangkok. The Tamil version is ready for release on August 31.

The Telugu version Gambler is expected to release on September 9. The film has Trisha as female lead. The film also stars Action King Arjun, Lakshmi Rai, Andrea Jeremiah, Vaibhav (Godava fame) etc. the film is written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. Yuvan Shanker Raja is scoring music for the film.

Hyderabad girl Madhu Shalini who was gone unnoticed is going to debut in Bollywood with Ram Gopal Varma’s Department. She was last seen on King starring Nagarjuna. Department is touted to be a sequel to RGV’s Sathya and Company. Madhu Shalini will share the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Rana.

The film will go to floors in the first week of September and is scheduled to release for pongal. It is reported that Madhu Shalini is playing the role of a gangster in this movie with never give up and don’t care kind of attitude.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s most sought movie 'Dhookudu' is currently busy with re-recording works at Shabdalaya Studios, Hyderabad. The film is currently shooting its climax scenes in Mumbai simultaneously. Soon after canning the climax scenes the film’s unit is set to picturise the remaining 2 songs of the film. 'Dhookudu' has Samantha as the female lead.

The film is directed by Srinu Vaitla and produced by Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under 14 Reels Entertainment banner. SS Thaman scored the music for the film. The audio of the film got mixed response from the audience. Dhookudu is expected to hit the screens on September 23.
