On Wednesday Supreme Court India ruled that gay sex is a criminal offense. They set aside a Delhi High Court verdict from 2009 which had decriminalized homosexuality. The verdict held that Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code which outlaws sex "against the order of nature" is constitutionally valid. Conviction carries a fine and a jail sentence of upto 10 years.

Bollywood actors expressed their disappointment through Twitter.

Aamir Khan: "I am most disappointed with this judgment. It feels very intolerant and violative of basic human rights. It's a shame," the star said in a statement.”

Filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted: For all those who think that this judgment gives them a right to talk about their self appointed machoism...GET A LIFE!!!

Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who shares screen space with Aamir Khan for the first time in upcoming YRF movie ‘Dhoom 3’, said that he is in awe of Aamir Khan.

“I can't say Aamir is my buddy. For the kind of work he has done and is doing there is certain amount of respect that I have for him. I am in awe of him. I have learnt a lot from him while working with him on this film,” said Abhishek Bachchan to PTI.

‘Dhoom 3’ is a sequel to ‘Dhoom’ and ‘Dhoom 2’.

The movie will see Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra reprise their previous roles of Jai Dixit and Ali in the movie.

While ‘Dhoom’ and ‘Dhoom 2’ saw John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan play the bad guy, ‘Dhoom 3’ will see Aamir Khan playing a baddie for the first time.

For past few days reports have been rife that Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha will be seen together in Yash Raj Film’s upcoming untitled movie. It was also reported that the movie so called movie will be directed by Aditya Chopra.

But Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has denied the reports and said that he hasn’t been approached for any such film.

“No, I am not doing that (film). But if you know anybody there (at YRF), then suggest my name," Big B told reporters at the launch of Just Dial search engine here.

"I also read it (that I will be working with Rekha in YRF's next) but there is no truth to it," he added.

Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan feels that Aamir Khan is the finest actor in Bollywood. He also said that Aamir Khan is an inspiration for the kind of work he has done in his upcoming movie ‘Dhoom 3’.

“He is the finest actor the country has. For his role (in ‘Dhoom: 3’) he required that kind of body. He does some trapeze work in the film, for him to work out that way (to have a perfect body) it is fantastic and inspiring,” said Shah Rukh Khan to PTI.

“Aamir leads the way and is always an inspiration like this not only physically and mentally but with the kind of job and work he does. I really appreciate it," he added.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan provoked ire of media when he along with his co-stars of his upcoming movie ‘Bullet Raja’ showed up three hours late for an event in Delhi yesterday.

When media demanded an apology from Saif Ali Khan, the actor chose to lash out at the media instead of apologizing.

“I will not apologize because it is not my fault. I was stuck in traffic. I should not be blamed for this chaos and I feel stars should not come to Delhi. This is my last visit to Delhi and henceforth, I will give interviews from Mumbai,” said Saif Ali Khan.

The actor decided to place blame on the event organizers Delhi Election Commission instead.

“If anybody should apologize it is the election officials as they didn't convey the right time," Saif said.

If the rumors are to be believed then Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have decided to move out of Bachchan residence ‘Jalsa’.

The couple, who married in 2007, has been living with Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan along with their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.

But according to recent reports not all is well in Jalsa residence. Though Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan seem to share a great bond and appear comfortable in each other’s presence whenever they've been spotted in public, reports suggest otherwise.

According to a leading daily, Jaya Bachchan keeps a close tab on all of Aishwarya Rai’s activities and expects Ash to keep her informed of all matters professional and personal. The two ladies reportedly don’t see eye-to-eye on many things, and Ash feels her mom-in-law a tad too intrusive in her affairs.

Actress Huma Qureshi, who is sharing screen space with Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit in ‘Dedh Ishqiya’, said that working with her idol has been a dream come true.

The actress also said that she had no illusions about her role in the movie and knew exactly what she was getting into.

“Madhuri is the quintessential heroine of all times. There is a lot of pressure when you are working with her, but she made it really easy for me. When I decided to sign the film, I knew exactly what I was doing. So there was no apprehension or insecurity,” said Huma Qureshi to PTI.

“Even on the set, I had a great team, a great director, who never once made me feel that there is some sort of disparity or that I am the second lead," Huma added.

Huma Qureshi said that she wasn’t competing with Madhuri Dixit in the movie but in fact is honored to share screen space with her.

The shooting of Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming movies ‘Shuddhi’ and ‘Bang Bang’ will have to be postponed as lead actor Hrithik Roshan has taken some time off to recover from his persistent headaches.

“Before I get ready to resume the shooting of my next, ‘Bang Bang’ (directed by Anand), in early January 2014 and later ‘Shuddhi’ (directed by Malhotra) — I will be taking some time off to recover completely from the recurring headaches that have resurfaced in the last couple of weeks. Both films are physically demanding and I am confident that your love and prayers will heal me completely,” said Hrithik Roshan to a leading daily.

‘Shuddhi’ will be directed by Karan Malhotra, who made his directorial debut with ‘Agneepath’, and will be produced by Karan Johar. The movie will star Hrithik Roshan as the male lead and Kareena Kapoor as the female lead. Pankaj Kapoor also plays a pivotal role in the movie. The movie will release on Diwali of 2014.

Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin has been missing from spotlight for past few months. There were rumors that the reason behind the actress’s disappearance is her separation from her filmmaker husband Anurag Kashyap.

But the actress denied the reports and said that she has been out of country shooting for her movies.

“I have been shooting three films this year. I have been in four countries over the past eight months. I have been really working hard. I have been in Sweden, New York, Detroit, Los Angeles and Delhi shooting these three films,” said actress to IANS.

“Now I am back and I am performing my play in December, you will see lots of me," she added.

Actress and daughter of veteran actor Kamal Haasan, Shruti Haasan, has registered a molestation and house trespassing complaint against an unidentified stalker.

On Tuesday, at about 9.30 am an unidentified man tried to barge into Shruti Haasan’s into her suburban Bandra West residence. She was confronted by a stalker who allegedly tried to barge into the apartment and also asked her why she had failed to "recognize" him.

"The accused had even put his hand on the actress' shoulder. Although she was rattled, she managed to push the man away and lock the door," a police officer said.

"A shocked Shruti lodged the complaint late last night,” the officer added.
