As if ‘Housefull 2’ wasn’t already studded with stars, the production house has now gone ahead and roped in none other than two of the most celebrated cricketers Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Suresh Raina.

"Housefull 2 would be the first release after IPL 2012 and arrives on 27th April. Keeping this in mind, Sajid Khan has included cricket elements in the film's script so that it turns out to be just the right follow up to the cricket season. With this latest development, audience will get a chance to see superstars from Bollywood as well as the cricket world sharing the same space”, said a source close to the production house.

The roles of the cricketers are yet to be decided. Will they have any a dialogue speaking role or would be just playing cricket is yet to be confirmed.

"Dhoni and Raina are key members of the Indian squad and have a busy schedule ahead. However, Sajid Nadiadwala's prior relationship with Indian cricket team is turning out to be handy here. He has already had preliminary discussions and it is just a matter of the cricketers shooting for the film. They are movie buffs themselves and want Housefull 2 to be movie they wish to watch immediately after an exhaustive IPL season”, added the source.

Just like in the movie ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ where the cricketers Kapil Dev, Navjot Singh Siddhu, Harbhajan Singh, Ashish Nehra, Irfan Pathan, Srinath and Parthiv Patel played a crucial role in the climax, Dhoni and Raina would be important in movie ‘Housefull 2’.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have done eight films together. Still, their 9^th project ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’ was supposed to unique from the rest. It was going to their first romantic comedy movie.

Now, they would have to wait longer to do a rom-com together due to Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy. The film’s shooting will start from July this year and its impossible for Aishwarya Rai to do the film.

The director Raj Kumar Santoshi will have to find a replacement and find it soon.

The source close to movie said that it would be none other than Ash and Abhishek’s best friend Preity Zinta who would replace Aishwarya. Also rumored to be in contention are Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone.

Amitabh Bachchan dazzled everyone when he arrived in Mercedes wearing a cool red jacket for his recent promotional event of ‘Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap’. His appearance was parallel with the character of a flamboyant old man that he plays in the movie.

Abhishek Bachchan who is also the producer of the movie too was present at the event. He wore a white T-shirt with Amitabh Bachchan’s picture all over it.

They at 1^st thanked everyone for their good wishes and distributed sweets. The audience was then treated with the promos of ‘Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap’, ‘Paa’ and ‘Cheeni Kum’.

The stage is set; Canada is bustling with Bollywood celebrities as the most glamorous and popular International Indian Film Academy (IFFA) Awards and Weekend kick started on Thursday night in Toronto.

The IIFA is being held in Canada and they would be celebrating ‘Year of India'. The event will be held for 3 days from Thursday to Saturday and will spread over four cities in Ontario-Toronto, Markham, Brampton and Mississauga.

The main attractions of this event will be the ‘IIFA World Premiere’ of ‘Double Dhamaal’, the Raj Kapoor street naming ceremony, music and fashion night ‘IIFA Rocks’ presented by the Bay, ‘IIFA Music Workshop’ which will lead to ‘IIFA Awards Night’ at the popular Roger's Centre.

The event ‘IIFA Rocks’ is something that everybody is looking forward to as none other than the Grammy Award winning Jermaine Jackson, the brother of late Michael Jackson is to perform with Sonu Nigam. That’s not it, ‘IIFA Rocks’ will also announce the 12th Floriana IIFA Technical Award winners and feature musical performances by top stars and international music artists, including Neha Dhupia, Dia Mirza, Mallika Sherawat, the cast of Double Dhamaal, Shankar-Eshaan-Loy and is co-hosted by Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar.

Salman Khan congratulated Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan. When asked about his former girlfriend’s pregnancy Salman said, “"I congratulate Abhishek and Aishwarya. I wish they have 7 kids. I hope they make a cricket team with extras."

Raveena Tandon is on a roll. She is all ready to grace the big screens on July 1^st in an item song in ‘Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap’. After that sources claim she has two more movies ‘Laboratory’ and ‘Aap Ke Liye Hum’ in her kitty.

Now, she has signed another movie ‘Alert’ in which she will play a leading role. Cast along side her is none other than Sanjay Dutt.

“With Sanju on the sets, shooting is one big party, all fun. He’s my childhood crush and I’m looking forward to working with him again,” said Raveena who has done 7 movies with Sanjay Dutt before.

 “Maanyata (Dutt) is a friend, and now that he has his twins, Shahraan and Iqra, and I have Rasha and Ranbir (Raveena’s daughter and son) there should have plenty of daddy-mummy talk”, added Raveena

The movie is to be directed by a Southern Ad filmmaker. It is a suspense thriller that will also star Anupam Kher.

When asked about her role all Raveena said was that she works for a minister. “If I say anything more I would be giving away the mystery.”

She is ravening to get started as she says, “I’m waiting for them to give me a heads up”.

If rumors are to be believed then Sonam Kapoor will be soon seen in a Tamil movie. This wont be the first time that a Bollywood actress has acted in Kollywood.

The likes of Sridevi, Manisha Koirala and Aishwarya Rai are as popular down south as they are in Bollywood. The latest actress to join the bandwagon was Sonakshi Sinha who is ready to make her debut in ‘Vishwaroopam’ along side Kamal Hasan.

Sonam Kapoor has been offered a lead role along side Vijay in a movie that’s to be directed by Ghajini director AR Murugadoss.

Vijay has already given his consent for the movie and would start shooting as soon as he completes the remake of 3 Idiots in Tamil.

Murugadoss wants to get on with the project as soon as possible as he has already completed his movie 7am Arivu. The movie is supposed to be a big budget one which will be backed by Fox Studios.

Sonam hasn’t yet given the seal of approval.

After a long hiatus Raveena Tandon can be seen on big screen again. The last time we saw the actress was in 2006 in the movie ‘Sandwich’.

Raveena will be seen in an item song in the movie ‘Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap’ that stars Amitabh Bachchan. The movie is to be released on July 1^st and is directed by a very famous director down south, Puri Jagannath.

But the actress is quick to say that item song isn’t her come back.

"Comeback is a very overrated word. Whenever I do something after even a little gap people term it as a comeback. How many times will I make a comeback? I would prefer to call it a backdoor entry into films," she said.

She also said that the song wasn’t a typical item song, “Honestly it's not a typical item song of today. The coinage of an item song nowadays is a little different. Now item means something else only, but I have maintained that please don't expect a lot from the song because I am fully clothed in it”.

Right from his debut to this date, Salman Khan has delivered few of biggest hits in Bollywood industry. His movies ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ and ‘Hum Aapke Hai Kaun’ broke records when they released and are popular even till date. Salman Khan denied the rumors that he would be cutting Ranbir Kapoor’s item song out of the movie.

When asked about his absence in the upcoming IIFA, where ‘Chillar Party’ movie is scheduled to be screened, he said, “I am busy shooting and don't have the time to make to IIFA this year. It was fun last year to perform there”.

When asked if he will miss IIFA, “Yes IIFA will miss me for sure”, he joked.
