Added by harini on Jul 12, 2011

Hrithik Roshan is a busy man now a days. Just after returning from a month long schedule in Diu, where he was shooting for his movie ‘Agneepath’, he has hit the road again for promotion of his upcoming movie ‘Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara’.

"I don't think I have worked this hard in my entire life...I feel like I have been steamrolled, I must be getting old," he said.

He just wrapped up the shooting of his movie ‘Agneepath’. In the movie he will be playing the same character that the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan portrayed in the movie with same name. The comparison between him and Amitabh Bachchan is bound to happen.

“In my mind, there are no comparisons, because Agneepath for me, is just another film. There's no manipulation and calculation. I reacted to the script instinctively and related to it without a thought for the original Agneepath. And there is no effort to do things differently, but just convincingly”, he said.

A Tete`-a-teteĀ“ with Soha Ali Khan

Added by harini on Jul 11, 2011

Soha Ali Khan is known to take the road less traveled. The actress seems to choose offbeat movies and meatier roles over commercial success. Her movies like Mumbai Meri Jaan, Dil Kabaddi and Khoya Khoya Chand, might not have been a box office hit but have gained the actress rave reviews. Her acting in movies like ‘Rang De Basanti’ stands as testimony to her talent.

Q. Are you happy the way your career has shaped up?

A. I don't know if anyone is ever happy with his/her career. If you are ambitious, then nothing is ever good enough. I'm happy in a way, but there is lot more to achieve, and I am hungry for more.

Q. You are currently busy shooting for 3 movies Soundtrack, Chemistry and Deepa Mehta's Winds of Change. Can you tell us something about your character in these films?

A. In Soundtrack, I play a woman who is hearing impaired. My teachers from the Helen Keller Institute made sure that I got the sign and body language of a hearing impaired person right. It took time, but we finally did it.

Q. What about the movie Chemistry?

A. Initially, I was little confused by that. I play a tomboy whose ego has taken a beating after being dumped by her boyfriend. She is full of herself, is mad, has red hair, and wears bizarre clothes. She is not worried about anything.

Q. We heard that wind of Change is based on Salman Rushdie's Midnight's Children. What character do you play?

A. Next question please.

Q. Now that Bollywood actresses are venturing into South Indian movies, do you have similar plans?

A. I have done Bengali cinema, but I don't know about the south. Some of the best directors in the country are from the south. If I am to work here, the director has to be good, someone from whom I can learn a lot. But for me to do a film, it's important that I know the language.

Q. And what about small screen. Will we get to see you there?

A. I did a game show earlier and found working for television great fun. But I should get the right show. I want to work with someone like Siddharth Basu from whom I learnt a lot during my last outing.

Q. Any chance of you working along with your brother Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor?

A. No! I can't even imagine what that film would be like.

Q. We heard that Saif and Kareena are planning to get married soon. Is it true? If it is, will it affect you?

A. I am glad that Saif and Kareena are in love and happy together. But when they choose to get married, is up to them. Their marriage is not going to affect my career in any way.

Q. Talking about marriage, do you have any plans in near future?

A. I have no marriage plans yet. In fact, I don't have any plans for life.

John Abraham and Genelia D'Souza in upcoming movie 'Force'

Pandit Bhagwat Guruji recently claimed that, while performing a marriage ritual in the upcoming movie ‘Force’, he got the leading couple John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza married off for real. The Pandit said that he was so engrossed in the situation that he chanted the real mantras and performed the real rituals. Therefore, he concluded that John and Genelia are now husband and wife.

The producer of the movie, Vipul Shah though thinks that this is nothing but the Pandit’s 15 minutes to fame strategy.

“Countless number of weddings have been performed in Hindi cinema, but this is the first time that I have come across someone so keen to be in the limelight that he can go far enough to claim to have married Genelia D'Souza off,” said Vipul Shah.

Saif Ali Khan possessive of his 'Kareena' tattoo

Added by harini on Jul 09, 2011

Apparently, Saif Ali Khan is so possessive about his ‘Kareena' Tattoo on his fore arm that he doesn’t allow anyone to touch it.

"Saif required a lot of preparation every day on location. A lot of makeup had to go into making him look 'normal' in the part of a Dalit. But when it came to his tattoo, he wouldn't allow anyone to touch it. He would do the makeup over the tattoo himself”, says a source from unit of his upcoming movie ‘Aakarshan’.

The only person allowed to touch the tattoo is Kareena herself.

As if that wasn’t enough, Saif Ali also seeks the approval of Kareena Kapoor on his looks before he stars shooting.

"Every morning he would click himself and send his photo to her. Only after she approved would he go ahead with the shoot”, added the source.

After the rumors of trouble in paradise, now the rumors are rife that they are to tie knot in 2012.

Ra.One is semi autobiographical, thinks Kunal Kapoor

Added by harini on Jul 09, 2011

Kunal Kapoor who is acting along side Shah Rukh Khan in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 2’ says that Shah Rukh Khan’s much talked about movie Ra.One is almost autobiographical.

“I think his character G one in the film Ra.One is actually semi autobiographical. While we need sleep and food, he is actually a robot and all he has to do is plug himself in or change his batteries and he is good to go again”, says the actor.

Kunal Kapoor is currently busy shooting for ‘Don 2’ and has been traveling all over India. The ‘Rang De Basanti’ actor is said to have a very crucial role in the movie.

The shooting of the movie will commence as soon as Farhan Akhtar gets back from his ‘Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara’ promotions.
