Vivek Oberoi's wife Priyanka Alva is pregnant

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is all set to turn a father soon. The actor’s wife Priyanka Alva is currently two months pregnant.

The joy’s for the Oberoi family don’t end there as Vivek Oberoi’s sister Meghna Oberoi too is pregnant and due around the same time as Priyanka.

“Vivek is elated with this happy coincidence. Both Priyanka and Meghna are due around the same time (February-March). The entire family is very happy especially, Vivek’s parents — veteran actor Suresh Oberoi and Yashodahra Oberoi,” said a close friend of the family to a daily.

“He (Vivek) is in a happy place. Not only is he preparing to become a father, he also has some big films lined up over the next couple of years,” he added.

Bipasha, like her character in 'Raaz 3', is feeling the breath of extinction: Mahesh Bhatt

Like Vidya Balan’s ‘The Dirty Picture’ and Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Heroine’ upcoming movie ‘Raaz 3’ also deals with downfall of a heroine from stardom.

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt said that they had taken a very realistic incident and added horror and black magic elements to the movie to the make the movie more interesting.

“The need for Bollywood stories is enormous, people are enchanted with it. There is a reality of the industry that we know. We have given the film a horror idiom by including black magic. The story is very much true,” said Mahesh Bhatt to a PTI in an interview.

In the movie Bipasha Basu plays an actress going through a turbulent time. Esha Gupta plays a young actress who is at her peak and has replaced Bipasha Basu as a top actress, while Emraan Hashmi plays a director. Bipasha Basu is so desperate to regain her lost popularity that she turns to black magic to sabotage Esha Gupta’s career and win back her love Emraan Hashmi.

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt said that Bipasha Basu was her perfect for the role as in real life too Bipasha Basu was going through a turbulent time.

“It also coincides with Bipasha Basu's life where she is feeling the breath of extinction as the younger girls have come in who may elbow her out. Today Bipasha is not as safe as she was 10 years ago when she came into the industry,” he said.

Ileana to star opposite Shahid Kapoor in ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero'

Tollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Anurag Basu’s movie ‘Barfi’ that stars Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra and will release on September 14, has signed her second movie in Bollywood.

The actress has been cast opposite Shahid Kapoor in Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming movie ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’.

“We have signed Ileana for our film. She is perfect for the role. She is a brilliant actress. We have seen her work down south,” confirmed producer Ramesh Taurani to PTI.

The producer though refused to divulge any further details.

Previously Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut had made a statement saying that ‘celebrities in Bollywood don’t know how to dress stylishly’.

But fashionista of Bollywood Sonam Kapoor, who recently visited Delhi to attend designer Anamika Khanna’s show on Day 2 of the PCJ Delhi Couture Week, thinks otherwise and said that people in Bollywood were in fact very stylish.

“I think most people in the industry dress up really well. Look at Kareena and Deepika… I think they all know how to carry themselves well. We all have our own individual style,” said Sonam Kapoor to HT.

The actress further added that Kangna Ranaut herself was one of the best dressed diva of Bollywood.

“In fact, I think Kangna herself is one of the most incredibly dressed people around. I don’t agree with her on this at all,” she said.

Casting of Prachi Desai opposite Sanjay Dutt in 'Thanedar Returns' to be justified

Actress Prachi Desai, who is just 24 years old, has been cast opposite 53 year old Sanjay Dutt in ‘Thanedar Returns’, which is a sequel to 1990 movie ‘Thanedar’ that starred Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit and remake of Tamil movie ‘Saamy’.

The makers of the movie now have a major problem on their hands as the age difference between Sanjay Dutt and Prachi Desai is too huge and the makers are thinking of changing the story line to justify the age gap.

“In the original Tamil filmSaamyVikram and Trisha, who are separated by about 10 years, played the lead. Here there's an age difference of almost 30 years between them,” said a source close to the production house to a daily.

The producer of the movie T.P. Aggarwal confirmed that they were planning on changing the plot of the movie to justify the gap.

Adult actress turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone’s first Bollywood movie ‘Jism 2’ has been met with mixed response. While one set of audience has welcomed the actress with open arms, the other set has been very critical of her past and have been ridiculing her and ripping her posters apart.

But Sunny Leone isn’t fazed by this response.

“In the entertainment business no matter what you do some groups of people are going to have issues about it. Luckily for me, there are more people liking me than disliking me. That's the reason I returned to India after ‘Bigg Boss to make a film. I get really good vibes from India,” she said to a daily in an interview.

“Everything is happening so fast. I never thought I'd be making a movie in India. I can't believe what's happening! I know a lot of critics in India don't like me. And that's fine. Everyone has the prerogative to judge me according to what they think of me from earlier on,” she added.

'Raajneeti 2' is a genius and brilliant idea: Katrina Kaif

Filmmaker Prakash Jha recently confirmed that his 2010 hit movie ‘Raajneeti’ would definitely have a sequel. The director even revealed that he had started working on the script and Katrina Kaif, who won critical acclaim for her role in the original, will have a central and more important role in the sequel.

Now actress Katrina Kaif too has confirmed that she has met with Prakash Jha and has discussed the movie. The actress said that though the script wasn’t complete yet she was blown by the story of ‘Raajneeti 2’.

“There are very few scripts that are genuinely entertaining. ‘Raajneeti’ is a script which has been worked on for years. I did hear the idea; I think it’s a genius and brilliant idea. I really hope everything falls in place. The only thing is most of the characters have been killed in the first part,” said Katrina Kaif to IANS.

I have some scripts lying around at home but I haven't had the time to read them,” said Abhishek Bachchan to a daily.
