Recently there has been an uproar regarding Sanjay Leela Bhansali dropping Kareena Kapoor out of ‘Ram Leela’ as he felt a married Kareena Kapoor wouldn’t be able to do justice to a romantic Juliet.

This has raised the age old debate of whether married heroines in Bollywood are accepted by the audience as well as film fraternity.

But Kareena Kapoor’s beau Saif Ali Khan said in an interview recently that Kareena Kapoor understood that things changed post marriage.

“Kareena just expresses that she’s conscious about this being a reality. And I try and assure her that it won’t impact her career. But she’s fairly realistic that in some ways it might and it will,” said Saif Ali Khan to a daily.

If the recent reports doing around tinsel town is true, then actress Aishwarya Rai will soon be seen in a Hollywood movie starring Billy Zane of ‘The Mummy’ fame.

“Aishwarya has been approached by director Daniel Silva for his upcoming film that also stars Billy Zane, TV actress Sara Khan and singer Lucky Ali,” said a source to a daily.

TV actress Sara Khan confirmed that she had already signed the movie and the makers had approached Aishwarya Rai for the same.

“I have signed the film. I have been told the makers have approached Aishwarya. We will start shooting in Los Angeles from September 13, 2012. It's a thriller film and I am playing Billy's wife,” she said.

Apparently, Aishwarya Rai is very keen to be a part of this project and is working hard to get back into shape post delivery.

Legendary actor Rajesh Khanna’s bungalow ‘Aashirwad’ will reportedly be converted into a museum as a shrine to the actor as per his daughter’s wishes.

“Yes, there are plans to convert Aashirwad into a museum, but nothing has been finalized yet. The family members will take the decision after Rajesh Khanna's 'chautha'. It's his daughters Twinkle and Rinke's wish to do so,” said a source close to Khanna family to IANS.

“It will be called Rajesh Khanna Museum and his precious things will be kept in the museum,” the source added.

Veteran actor, who has acted in movies like ‘Aradhana’, ‘Anand’, ‘Kati Patang’, and ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’, passed away on Wednesday after suffering from prolonged liver infection. He was 69.

He is survived by his estranged wife Dimple Kapadia and their two daughters Twinkle Khanna and Rinkie Khanna.

Actress Deepika Padukone has been paired opposite Shahid Kapoor for the first time in Prabhu Deva’s upcoming movie ‘Namak’.

The choreographer turned director, who recently has delivered a blockbuster hit with ‘Rowdy Rathore’, has been looking for a heroine for his movie for quite sometime now.

Deepika Padukone apparently was never in the equation but after the director saw the promos of her recent release ‘Cocktail’, he decided to approach the actress as he thought she suited the role perfectly.

“The Prabhu-Shahid deal has been the talk of the town for the past few months but they were unable to finalize an actress. Deepika’s name was suggested after the makers saw the promos of Cocktail. The freshness will be the USP of this pairing and is expected to add a lot of zing to the story,” said a source to a daily.

After delivering hits with ‘Krrish’ and ‘Agneepath’, actress Priyanka Chopra is teaming up with Hrithik Roshan once again for ‘Krrish’ sequel ‘Krrissh 3’.

When asked if she believes that she is lucky for her co-stars like Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan, she said that people choose to work with her because she is good not because she is lucky.

“I think I am lucky for my self. A co-star does not work with me because I am lucky, but because I am good,” she said to PTI.

Even though her recent movies ‘Don -2’ and ‘Agneepath’ crossed 100 Crores at the box-office, many feel that Priyanka Chopra had no part in the success because she was hardly present for few scenes.

“If the producer gives me even five scenes, I will do justice to them. I had eight scenes in ‘Kaminey’ which is lesser than my screen time in Agneepath. Yet people liked the film and loved my chemistry with Shahid (Kapoor). Big budget films belong to the heroes,” she said.

Katrina Kaif, who turned 28 on July 16^th, spent her birthday at the Yash Raj Studios dubbing for her upcoming movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.

The actress ended up celebrating her birthday at the studios, where she cut a cake with the crew of Yash Chopra's film, just like she had informed before.

But what the actress did not tell the media was that she would be driving to Salman Khan’s residence to have a close knit birthday dinner with Salman Khan, family and few close friends.

“It was Katrina’s plan to fool the media and she did manage to some extent. She had her own plans chalked out and did not want anyone in the media to know about it. Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, who was rushed to Kokilaben hospital on July 2^nd after he complained about breathlessness, underwent bypass surgery on Monday.

“He was admitted to hospital for severe breathlessness. During investigations blockages were discovered in the coronary arteries. Based on medical advice he underwent bypass surgery,” said Kokilaben hospital COO Dr Ram Narain to PTI.

The surgery was conducted by cardiac surgeon Dr Anvay Mulay.

“He is fine now and on the road to a speedy recovery. He has thanked all his well wishers for their unconditional love and support,” said Dr Narain.

The doctor said that the actor would remain in the hospital for a week for observation but doctor said that the actor was doing really well.

Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, who has worked with legendary Rajesh Khanna in movies like ‘Aradhana’, ‘Amar Prem’ and ‘Safar’, said that no other celebrity in India had a fan following like that of Rajesh Khanna.

“He was most certainly the first superstar and with due respect to other actors, nobody created that kind of a craze after him,” she said to PTI.

The actress further said that as she worked with the veteran actor during his peak, she always found long queues of excited fans waiting to have a glimpse of him.

“Elderly woman would want to mother him. Younger women wanted to fall in love with him. And the men also liked him because he had a lot of energy and style. He brought together people from nine-year-olds to ninety-year-olds,” she added.

Everyone who has worked with Superstar Rajinikanth says that it was a great honor to work alongside a legend like him. And actress Deepika Padukone, who is working with the Superstar for the first time in Tamil movie ‘Kochadaiyaan’, is no different.

“It was great working with him. I did not feel any pressure. I must say even though he is a big star, he is like a child. He is very excited on the sets. He comes with full energy. He greets everyone including artists, technicians, and also his daughter Soundarya, who is the director,” said Deepika Padukone to PTI.

“I think he and Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) are the two actors that I have come across, who are so excited about their job...you can see the passion in their eye,” she added.

‘Kochadaiyaan’ is a 3D movie, which will be the first Indian movie to use performance capturing technology, the same technology used in movies like ‘Avatar’ and ‘The Adventures of Tin Tin’ by James Cameron and Steven Spielberg respectively.

While Saif Ali Khan said that no date for the wedding was yet fixed, Sharmila Tagore is sticking with her previous statement that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will be married on October 16^th itself.

Recently it was reported that Pataudi family would be going to Bhopal this Ramzan season and would decide on a London wedding.

“There is no point to go to Bhopal during Ramzan. I will go after Eid, Inshaallah!” she said to Mid Day.

“The venue will be Pataudi or Mumbai. With Tiger passing away, we want a very quiet wedding. Saif Miyan is the busiest man on the planet. He wants to do the wedding in Pataudi but apparently Kareena’s parents want it in Mumbai,” she added.

The veteran actress said that she wouldn’t mind an Indian wedding.
